If you get a flat on the M7
- Stop in the emergency stopping lane or a breakdown bay and switch on your hazard lights.
- If it is safe, get out on the passenger side and wait behind the safety barrier. If you can’t reach a barrier, stay in the car if it is safe to.
- Use a roadside emergency phone or call the Transport Management Centre on 131 700.
- Don’t abandon the car: Westlink M7 warns that abandoned vehicles may be impounded, with charges.
- If anyone is hurt, call 000.
- Once you and the car are safe, call us with exactly where it is: the road, the direction you were travelling and the nearest exit.
