How our pricing works
Tyre prices move with size, brand and stock, so a price list on a website is out of date the week it's published. Here is exactly how we arrive at your number instead.
The call-out is in the price
We don't quote a tyre and then add travel. One figure covers coming to you, the tyre, fitting, balancing and disposal of the old one. If the job turns out different on arrival, you hear the new price before any extra work.
You get it before we leave
Tell us the size on your sidewall and your location and we quote on the phone. If you'd rather not read the sidewall, tell us the car and we'll look it up. Some bookings need a booking fee first, and we tell you when we quote.
A repair costs less than a tyre
Where the damage passes the three repair conditions, we repair. We don't sell you a tyre you don't need.
We beat any written quote
Email a written quote on the same tyre to info@mobiletyreworld.com.au and we'll beat it. It keeps us honest and it saves you ringing around in the rain.

Questions worth asking any mobile fitter
Is the call-out really included?
Yes. The figure we quote on the phone covers travel to you, the tyre, fitting, wheel balancing and taking the old tyre away. If the job turns out to be different when the van arrives, for example a different tyre size, we explain the new price before doing any extra work.
What if you don’t have my size on the van?
We ask for the sidewall size when you call so the right tyre is loaded before we leave. If your size is unusual we tell you on the phone and give you a realistic time, rather than turning up without it.
Do you charge more at night or on public holidays?
We operate 24 hours, 365 days. Any difference in the price is told to you on the phone before we move, never on arrival.
Can I pay in instalments?
Afterpay, Humm and Zip are accepted at the kerb alongside card. Fleet accounts, Fleetcard and Ampol are available for commercial customers.
How do I read my tyre size?
It is printed on the sidewall and looks like 225/45R17 94W — width in millimetres, aspect ratio, rim diameter in inches, then load index and speed rating. Read it out to us and we can quote.
Why can one tyre cost several hundred dollars?
The price depends on the tyre size, rim diameter, profile, load and speed rating, whether it is a run-flat, and the brand. Large, low-profile and run-flat tyres cost more to buy and take longer to fit. Your quote names the tyre, so you can compare it before you agree.
