Booking and cancellation policy
What happens when you accept a quote, and when a cancellation fee applies. Once you confirm a job we send a van for you, so if your plans change, call us as early as you can.
Accepting a quote
We quote on the phone, by SMS or by email, and confirm the price and job details in writing before we send a van. When you confirm the job and accept the quote, by phone, SMS or email, you enter into a service agreement with Mobile Tyre World Pty Ltd for the work described.
What we need before we send a van
- The exact address or location of the vehicle.
- The tyre size, or a clear photo of the tyre sidewall.
- Any booking fee we have asked for.
Your booking is confirmed once we have all of these. Until then, no technician has been sent.
If the job changes on arrival
If the job turns out to be different from what we were told, for example a different tyre size, or damage that means a replacement rather than a repair, we explain the new price before doing any extra work. You decide whether to go ahead.
Cancelling a confirmed job
If you cancel after confirming the job, a cancellation fee applies equal to the call-out cost included in your quote. We tell you what that call-out cost is when we quote. There is no fee if you decide not to go ahead before confirming.
Paying
Some bookings need a booking fee paid before we send a van. We tell you if yours does, and how much, when we quote. The rest is due when the work is finished. We accept card, Afterpay, Humm and Zip, as well as approved fleet accounts, FleetCard and AmpolCard.
Unpaid amounts
Cancellation fees and invoices that remain unpaid may be passed to a third-party collection agency. That can lead to legal action and may affect your credit rating.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our terms of service explain those rights.
